Grant Funding for our 3rd sector heroes

We believe in using our creative skills as a force for positive change. Our Design for Good grant has been set up to support local charities, helping them to become the best versions of themselves. We’re very passionate about our work in this space and the positive impact that third sector organisations have in our local community.

In partnership with our delivery partners, Voscur and Quartet Community Foundation | Pro Help, we are committed to releasing one grant each year and donating services in kind up to the value £20,000 (or at least 5% of our annual turnover) in Bristol and the surrounding area. This work forms part of our wider commitment to donate the equivalent of 5% or more of our time through pro-bono services each year.

The grant funding covers targeted support across our full service offering including Brand Strategy and Design, Website & UX Design, Content Strategy & Production. This grant is best suited to small to medium sized charities that are ambitious in their plans for growth and ready to undertake a complete overhaul of their branding, messaging, website and marketing content.

We have specific eligibility criteria to help us focus our support where it’s most needed. Please check the details below and then fill out the application form.

Eligibility criteria

Before applying, please check and confirm if your organisation meets all of our eligibility criteria in this statement:

“Our organisation exists to make a positive social or environmental impact in the Bristol and the SouthWest area. It cannot readily afford to pay for these specific creative or design services that we are applying for. Our annual income is under £500,000 per year. We will allocate a specific point of contact to communicate with The Discourse, responding to requests for information and making decisions relating to the delivery work in a timely way.”

Applications for the 2024 Design for Good grant programme are now closed. The application period for the 2025 grant will open on January the 1st 2025.

Applications for the Design for Good grant are now open. The closing date is March the 31st 2024, any applications received after this date will not be eligible for the 2024 grant.
